Nintendo Revives The “Nintendo World Championships” for E3 2015

In 1990, Nintendo sponsored a video game competition for the Nintendo Entertainment System in the US. Players competed in age-bracketed city competitions for a chance to compete in the Nintendo World Championship 1990. The competition created one of the most valuable video games in history – the Nintendo World Championship 1990 NES Cartridge. 25 years later, Nintendo has revived the Nintendo World Championships for this year’s E3.
