Sony Tablet S Now Supports Playstation 3 Controller

As of now, Sony has finally released an update to the Tablet S to fully support Playstation 3 controllers. No longer will you need to use your fingers when you can simply plug in your Playstation 3 controller into the tablet.

Sony Tablet S PS3 Controller

This update is released for Japan users right now, but is expected to be released to other countries soon. The update is only for the Tablet S, and not for the Tablet P users as of now. It does not initially support the Bluetooth wireless technology the PS3 controller has, which means you’ll have to own a USB adapter to take advantage of this feature. The good news is, once it is initially paired with the tablet, you know longer need to plug your PS3 controller into the device as it will work via Bluetooth. To give users a test run, Sony has released a free download which is the Ape Escape-themed mini-game collection.

Sounds like a good deal to Sony’s gaming tablet users,  time for the other competitors to step it up.
