Samsung Gear VR Now Available for Purchase

Samsung’s virtual reality headset is finally available for purchase via Samsung.com for the Galaxy Note 4 – sorry Note 4 Edge users. Samsung’s Gear VR is a virtual reality headset created in a technology partnership between Oculus and Samsung, and is powered by the Galaxy Note 4. Oculus is using Samsung screens to power their Rift and Samsung is using Oculus’s head tracking and VR technology to provide an immersive experience.

I have not yet had an opportunity to test out any of the Oculus Rift models or the GearVR, but if you are interested in seeing a sample of VR, I would definitely take a look at Google Cardboard.
