nVidia GTX 970 Owners Can Now Claim Their $30 – Class Action

If you purchased a nVidia GeForce GTX 970, you can finally claim your $30 from the class action lawsuit that nVidia recently settled. If you haven’t been keeping up, the GTX 970 was shipped with 4GB of GDDR5 memory, but only 3.5GB of it functioned at the full speed. The remaining .5GB would operate at a significantly slower speed when it was addressed by an application or video game. Also, according to Overclock3D, there were fewer ROPs (Render Output Processors) and less memory cache than what was advertised by nVidia.
