Amazon Granted Patent for Airbag for Mobile Devices
Amazon just granted the patent for their mobile device airbag system. After looking at the patent documents, I didn’t see any specifics on how or what would be deployed from the device to protect it, but from the illustrations, it appears to be a series of miniature airbags that deploy if the falling speed is fast enough.
