“Standbying” is Back in Halo Master Chief Collection: Halo 2

The old Halo 2 “Standbying” glitch is back, which allows users in any matchmaking game to force the other players to wait in a network loading screen while the cheater runs around with the ability to kill the other players in-game. This cheat was popular among the original Halo 2 on the Xbox and Xbox 360 in which users can connect into any matchmaking game as the connection host, press the “standby” button on his or her modem, and kill the other players while they wait in a network loading screen. Just another problem to add to the matchmaking features on the Halo Master Chief Collection on the Xbox One.
