Linux 20th Anniversary – Linus Torvalds Releases 3.0

With the 20th Anniversary of Linux, Linus Torvalds released a major update to the Linux Kernal, version 3.0.0-rc1. This update brings tons of new CPU and Chipset support – such as support for the new Intel Ivy and Sandy Bridge CPUs, as well as AMD's new Fusion setups. Interestingly enough, one update brings support for the Microsoft Xbox's Kinect – which should bring a bunch more open sourced projects for the hackable device.

Happy Birthday Linux!
