Deal Alert: Star Trek TNG Season 2 Bluray $79.99, Dark Knight Trilogy $29.96
I’ve been looking at the Star Trek Season 2 Remastered Blu-ray for the past few weeks and when the date was officially announced last week for December 4th, 2012, I knew what I wanted for Christmas. Unfortunately, the Season 2 Blu-ray was $129, nearly $50 more than the Season 1 remastering. Now, for a Star Trek fan, this still seemed to be an acceptable price – especially since I don’t legally own Seasons 2-6 – but paying almost $6 per episode did seem a bit steep.
As of right now, Amazon is offering the Star Trek TNG Season 2 Blu-Ray for $79.99. It’s a Prime item, so if you have Amazon Prime – Free 2nd day shipping, which will make sure that the pre-order arrives on December 4th.

In addition to the far-more palatable TNG Blu-ray, Amazon also has Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy on Blu-ray available for pre-order for only $29.99. This trilogy includes Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises, as well as several special features discs.
