Amazon Announces Kindle Fire HD, HD 8.9″, & Kindle Paperwhite

Amazon announced two new product lines: The Kindle Fire HD series and the Kindle Paperwhites. The Kindle Fire HD  has three models, each with two sizes – the 7″ HD, the 8.9″ HD, and the 8.9″ HD 4G.

Below, I’ll have a quick breakdown of the new features for both product-lines. I will post another article in more detail when we get one in hands.

The Kindle Fire HD series feature higher resolution screens than their predecessor, as well as faster processors, more memory, and “exclusive” Dolby audio.

Amazon’s Kindle Paperwhite series features higher screen resolution, better contrast on the screens, and a custom light E-Ink display.
