AT&T Return / Cancellation Time Reduced from 30 Days to 14 Days.

AT&T has shortened their equipment return and service cancellation dates from 30 days to 14 days. Beyond the 14 days, now, you will be subject to standard ETFs (Early Termination Fees) which can go up to $325 per smartphone / tablet or $150 per basic phone / data device. The policy change goes in effect October 7th, 2012, and is detailed below in a document leaked out by Engadget earlier today.

It should be noted that this is the standard return and cancellation date used by most of the other carriers. Also, this may not apply in some states, where there are return policy or contract laws that supersede this one.
