Twitter Rolls Out Profile Customization Updates on December 12th
Twitter will be rolling out a major profile update December 12, 2012 (12/12/12) to add new customization features. Users will be able to use three different custom images for their profile on Twitter, including a background image, profile picture, and now a header image (much like that used on Facebook).
The images can be uploaded, modified, and scaled on any device, including smartphones and tablets.
