T-Mobile Galaxy S II Update Brings ISIS NFC Support

T-Mobile has an interesting update for their Galaxy S II (SGH-T989) released today, which adds support for a NFC (Near Field Communication) protocol I was unfamiliar until today called ISIS. To sum it um, ISIS is a joint-venture between the major wireless carriers in the United States and the major EFT carriers (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, etc.) to provide NFC support for payment processing on smartphones.

It looks like the T-Mobile Galaxy S II is the first device shown carrying ISIS NFC support, so it should be interesting.
