GameStop Makes Their Own Gaming Tablet

Gamestop isn’t happy with the tablets currently in the market. So they have decided in making their own gaming tablet. The tablet will be designed to run high quality mobile games, powered by Android. Toby Bartel, Gamestop president, says “If we can’t find [a tablet] that’s great for gaming, then we will create our own.”

The tablet, which currently has no name, is in its production state going through testing right now. There isn’t much information on this tablet, but we do know that some games will be streamable rather than downloadable, and will include console games as well.

Since the Android-powered tablet will be able to play console games, Gamestop knows it will be difficult to play games like Modern Warfare 3 using finger touch pads, so the tablet will also have its own controller to support many complicated games.

There is currently no expected price estimate. The tablet will be out some time next year.
