Google Chrome Getting Hardware Accelerated UI
Some new details and a fancy chart shed some light on Google Chrome's window manager project, Aura. Aura is going to use hardware acceleration to display the updated interface coming soon to the next Chrome build. The new UI's framework is supposed to offer "rich visuals, large-scale animated transitions and effects."
