iPhone 5 to have 1 GB of RAM

More is discovered everyday about the iPhone 5. However, it is very rare that we find out how much RAM Apple iPhones have prior to their release date. Apple presented their chip during their presentation last Wednesday and has confirmed that the iPhone 5 will have 1GB RAM.

In front of the chip we see an Apple logo, followed by an ‘A6’. This A6 chip is confirmed to have 1GB of memory. We also see other information on the chip which reveals more on the chip specs itself to also confirm that Apple is still using Samsung parts on their iPhone 5. Yes, despite Apple’s lawsuit win over Samsung, they are still relying on Samsung to make their chips.
