Walmart Selling ‘The New iPad’ 8 Hours Early

Walmart received their shipments of the iPad, but will follow their own rules on when to release it for sale. They may be the first to sell this product as other retailers will not sell unit til 8am.

Even the Apple Store themselves will not be selling The New iPad until 8 am this morning. The L.A. Times tried to get some answers from Wal-Mart but they refused to give any information. Supplies are limited as expected and Wal-Mart will sell the 16GB Wi-Fi model in black or white for $499, while the iPad 2 will sell for $399.

So if you want your copy of The New Ipad, head over to Wal-mart before they get out of stock.
