Bethesda: Sadly, the Third Victim of Hackers

On its official blog, Bethesda confirms that their website were compromised from hackers.

They informed its users that no financial information was obtained. They do fear that many of its users usernames may have been obtained. They urge all its users to change their usernames/passwords so ensure the security of their account. If you use similar password/usernames for other websites then they strongly urge you to change them.

Lulz Security revealed on their Twitter account that they have had Bethesda’s accounts for weeks and said they have 200,000 users accounts. They said the have done this for pure amusement and their only motive was that “they could not stop us”.
