More Android Phones Get 2.3 Update

More Android Phones will be getting OTA (Over the Air) updates to 2.3 (Gingerbread). The Motorola Droid-X gets the update this week, Samsung’s Galaxy S phones are getting the update in the UK, and now the Droid Pro is being updated – ahead of the Droid 2, per Verizon’s rollout schedule.

Once again, users who need their phone rooted should wait a few days to perform the update, so a patch and/or guide is released.

Update: Hold off on updating your device if you plan on tethering your phone without paying the $20 / month fee to Verizon.
