Radeon 6950 Unlocking Guide
AMD loves unlocking, from their Black Edition processors with the unlocked multiplier, to the unlockable tri-core and dual-core processors. Now they have given a virtually fail-safe unlocking method for their video cards. The AMD Radeon 6950s have the possibility to unlock the shader cores to that of the HD 6970 – and with a bit of overclocking – to perform like a stock HD 6970.
In this video tutorial, I will show you how to unlock your Radeon HD 6950 to perform like a 6970.
