Xbox Next’ and PlayStation 4 to be Mentioned Around 2013 [E3]

Multiple sources suggests Microsoft AND Sony are already working on their next generation consoles and will be announced to the public at 2013’s E3.

According to Develop-Online, they have sources from the Microsoft industries suggesting that Microsoft is already working on their next generation console:

Multiple sources across the industry, from processor chip manufacturers to middleware firms, have told Develop they expect the console to be fully unveiled at E3 2013, months before its release. – http://www.develop-online.net

Game Developers suggest the console will be released on the holiday season of 2013

As for Sony, some game developers have already started game developing for the Playstation 4 console.

Few in the games business expect a new PlayStation to launch before 2014 – the next few Christmases will likely see Sony marketing software for PS3, Move and its new Vita handheld. – http://www.develop-online.net

Just like Microsoft’s “Xbox Next”, we believe the Playstation 4 will be mentioned at E3 2013, at to be “said to release” by holiday season of 2013. Delays and push-backs are expected from Sony’s console, and not Microsoft’s console.
