Wake Up to a Microsoft Shopping Spree

According to IGN and multiple other gaming based sites: August 11th, 2012 is the day that thousands of Microsoft points were “rewarded” to randomly selected users. This is no joke. Users were able to spend thousands of free Microsoft points with no hesitation.

Some were a little concerned and feared spending these points would glitch their own account. However, Microsoft has already responded in a recent tweet that any points that were given out are now property of the user holding the points.

However, if you weren’t fast enough, the points may have been recalled according to Microsoft. If you received many Microsoft points last night, let us know and spend them ASAP!
