Verizon Has No Plans to Lock Down Their Unlocked GSM iPhone 5’s

According to an article from the Associated Press, Verizon said they won’t lock out the unlocked GSM function on the iPhone 5’s they released. As reported the other day, the Verizon iPhone 5 had an interesting feature – the ability to take any GSM nano SIM card, meaning it was carrier unlocked and could be used internationally. This feature makes this a top-dog for those looking to travel abroad, since it can effectively work everywhere with cellular towers.
