The X-Files Returns January 2015 for a 6-Episode Event Series
A few months back, Fox announced that the X-Files would be returning for a six-episode “event series“. Now that return has been solidified and a date has been set. On January 24th, 2015, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson will be reprising their roles as Agent’s Mulder and Scully.
The X-Files Event Series is produced by the original creator and executive producer of the show, Chris Carter. This isn’t a re-hashing of the show or a reboot, but a “a 13-year commercial break”, according to Carter. I look forward to catching up on the show between now and then. I have 7 seasons and two movies to watch between now and next year.
