Sweet Tech Deals This Week – 2015-08-01

So we haven’t been posting a ton of content as of late, so I figured since it’s back to College for a lot of people, you might be looking to pickup some electronics on a budget. Below are the top picks for this week for a number of PC parts and gaming gear.

Logitech C920 –  Pretty much the go to webcam for PC (1080P, 30fps). Just make sure you turn off “Real Light”, “Auto Focus”, and adjust your white balance.
Usually found for around $100, this week it’s under $70 on Amazon.
Note: This did go down to $50 for a few days last year, but I haven’t seen it this low for months.

Logitech Z506 5.1 Surround Sound PC Speakers – I picked these up about a week ago and they’re really solid so far. I’ll probably post a brief review next week on them.
These retail for $100. Walmart & Amazon have had them for $50, if you saw our Facebook posts.
Note: Amazon’s price keeps bouncing around, since they keep going out of stock. Both have free shipping options, just pull the trigger on whichever one has it in stock for $50.

CAD U1 USB Desktop MicrophoneThis is the mic we reviewed last year as the best mic under $25. It’s back under $25, so if you’re in the market for one, Amazon’s got them in stock again.

Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless PC Controller & Dongle – It’s under $40 and is the most cost effective way to game on PC with a controller. The wireless adapter lets you and 3 others connect to your Windows machine. Fire up Steam in Big Picture Mode and play some TowerFall Ascension or RocketLeague.

Microsoft Xbox 360 Wired Controller for PC – If you’re going super cheap, for under $28, you can now pickup a wired 360 pad for your PC (or your Xbox 360 for that matter).

Xbox One Controller + Cable for PCUnder $50. This is not a huge price reduction, but I figured I’d put it here with the other PC controller kits. It also puts the cost into perspective. You could buy two wired 360 pads for the PC for an extra $6. Still not a bad price if you’re also going to use it on your Xbox One.

HP External USB 2.0 DVD Burner – I still have a couple of externals myself, but if you’re looking for a really solid deal on an external DVD drive, Newegg’s got one for $11.98 with an instant rebate by entering the promo code “0728BTSCM17” at checkout.

LG 25UM56-P 25″ IPS 21:9 2560 X 1080 Monitor – If you’re looking for a 21:9 Monitor for way under $200, this thing is a steal. It’s going for $169.99 shipped on Newegg with an instant rebate by entering in the promo code “EMCAVNW39” at checkout.

DELL Outlet Sale – If you don’t mind factory refurbished models, the Dell Outlet has a ton of laptops, all-in-ones, and monitors 25-35% off using coupon codes. These will not last long, so your milage may vary.
