Steam For Linux Officially Released – Steam Sale & Free Penguin for TF2

Valve’s Steam client is now officially available for the most popular Linux distro, Ubuntu. With the launch of Steam and the 100+ compatible games, naturally we get a Steam Sale on a bunch of games.

A must-download is Team Fortress 2, which is free to play. If you play TF2 on Linux, you’ll get an in-game Tux Penguin.

Here’s a list of the Linux-compatible games available with the Steam sale which runs until February 21st 10AM PST:
