Motorola Droid RAZR HD & RAZR MAXX HD For Sale October 18th

Verizon officially announced the Motorola Droid RAZR HD and RAZR HD MAXX for sale October 18th.

As with the original Droid RAZRs, both RAZR HD phones have identical specs, with the exception of battery and storage. They both sport a 4.7″ 1280 x 768 AMOLED display with very thin bezels, making them smaller than the HTC One X and Galaxy S III, a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 clocked at 1.5Ghz, 1GB of RAM, NFC support, and have a microSDHC cards. Did I mention LTE? The RAZR HDs will ship with Android 4.0 (ICS) and will have the Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) update 6-weeks after the launch.

The Droid RAZR HD ($199) is the ultra thin model sporting 16GB of storage and a 2530 mAH battery, larger than the 1780 mAH in the original RAZR, and boasts close to 16 hours of talk time and 24 hours of “normal use”. 2 extra millimeters will get you 30% more battery and 32GB of storage with the Razr MAXX HD ($299), which gives you a 3300 mAH extended battery to allow 21 hours of talk time and 32 hours of “normal use”.

Both look like solid contenders to the Samsung Galaxy S III, HTC One X & One X+ LG Optimus G Flagship devices right now. This has to be the most term-filled frenzy I’ve typed.. maybe this will be better:
