Leaked AMD Bulldozer Benchmarks
Hot off the forums, here are some ‘leaked’ screenshots of AMD’s new Bulldozer 8-core chip courtesy of Xtremesystems. Now take these with a grain of salt, but according to these benchmarks the AMD FX 8110 is besting a core i5 2600k in wPrime and rubbing elbows with the i7-980X.
If this is the case, Intel will have to hurry up and release its 28nm CPUs.
Update: As speculated, the second set of benchmarks were apparently fakes, as confirmed by Gigabyte a while ago. I’ll leave the other benchmark up, as it hasn’t been proven to be a fake yet.
