Intel Buys McAfee for 7.7 Billion

Intel is set to acquire McAfee for $7.7 Billion USD, pending government approval. McAfee, best known for their security software, has had strong growth over the past few years. Intel intends to work with McAfee to implement hardware-enhanced security into their future products. Their strategy will add Protection to the Power and Performance.
