Dennis Ritchie, The Creator of the Programming Language C Dies at 70

The creator of the C Programming Language and co-creator of Unix, Dennis Ritchie (dmr), passed away at the age of 70. It was reported just a few hours ago, despite actually occurring on the 8th or the 9th of October.

Ritchie’s legacy can be seen, in some form, on every piece of software created since 1973.
