Apple May Release 2 Tablets Next Year

If you'll be tuning into iWorld on January 26th, 2012, don't be surprised to hear about multiple tablets that will be releasing as Apple's next generation tablets.  In total, 2 Apple tablets may be released at the same time in 2012, with the iPad 2 still being the competitor of Amazon's Kindle Fire. This means they will not be a version of the iPad 2 but completely separate and independent tablets, though they may not be the iPad 3. Perhaps, of a iPad 2.5 type model. 

Rumored Specs (all models):

  • 9.7-inch screens (compared to previously rumored 7.85-inch)
  • QXGA Screen Res 1536 x 2048p
  • Dual – LED light bars (increase brightness)
  • Quad-Core A6 Processor
  • ​5MP and 8MP Camera (5MP for 1 model, 8MP for the 2nd model)
  • 14,000 milliampere-hour (mAh) Battery Capacity
